i)Trekking
Human relationships with society and nature are becoming alien. It is also necessary to implement a variety of activities that promote adventure to address the problems faced by the present generation and overcome the crises. It has become a common sight to lose friendships and commit suicide after getting addicted to alcohol and drugs as soon as they finish their school and college education. To overcome this situation, the main thing that needs to be done is to develop organized power. Developing personality, leadership qualities and the ability to face problems can be beneficial for personal and national progress. Therefore, the trekking project, an adventure programme that nurtures such features, will help in building a new society. By trekking, exercise, which is an excellent means of improving human health, not only helps in building a healthy society but also helps in getting to know nature and the environment intimately. The hardships and uncertainties faced during the journey help in inculcating unity, selflessness, discipline, national consciousness, unity and effort among the passengers. In this context, the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board organizing trekking through the National Adventure Academy will help in attracting and encouraging more young men and women into the sector and creating an opportunity to compete at the state and national level in the field of mountaineering.Under the aegis of The National Adventure Academy, Munnar and Kannur, trekking can be organized to the trekking points of Kerala such as Meeshapulimala, Chemprakodumudi, Kolukkumala, Paithalmala, Dharmadom Thuruthu, Ranipuram, Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary and Kanjirakolli. Therefore, by promoting adventure-promoting events and creating a healthy and psychological mind of the generation, the younger generation needs to be actively involved in the nation-building process, in addition to book studies. It is a novel experience for the youth to make available adventure entertainment programmes such as hot air balloon paragliding, parasailing and water adventure items, which are not regularly available to the public and are charged a hefty amount, through the Adventure Entertainment Festival of the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board.
