Keralotsavam – 2024
Keralotsavam is organized annually under the auspices of the state government to provide an opportunity for the youth to showcase their artistic, cultural and sports talents, to develop a sense of brotherhood, cooperation and coexistence among them, and to provide an opportunity for them to come together on a common platform. Keralotsavam is organized under the leadership of the State Youth Welfare Board in collaboration with local self-government institutions and various departments.

Keralotsavam – 2023
Keralotsavam is organized annually under the auspices of the state government to provide an opportunity for the youth to showcase their artistic, cultural and sports talents, to develop a sense of brotherhood, cooperation and coexistence among them, and to provide an opportunity for them to come together on a common platform. Keralotsavam is organized under the leadership of the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board in collaboration with local self-government institutions and various departments.
Keralotsavam has already gained public attention as the biggest art, sports and cultural gathering place for the youth of Kerala. In the past, it has been possible to participate in various competitive events of the National Youth Festival and achieve great success at the national level.The unique feature of the Keralotsavam is that various events such as art competitions, cultural competitions, sports competitions, etc. are held at the same venue. Therefore, the 2023 Keralotsavam needs to be organized with greater excellence and increased mass participation. To ensure the active participation of youth clubs and members, cash awards will be given at various levels to the clubs that score the highest points in the art and sports competitions.

Keralotsavam – 2022
Keralotsavam is one of the most popular events in the activities of the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board. It has the noble objective of providing an opportunity to the youth of rural areas, along with the urban dwellers, to showcase and promote their artistic and sporting talents. The Keralotsavam organizes preliminary level competitions at the grama panchyat level and the block and the district level. The people of the respective block panchayats participate in the respective block level competitions. The winners of the block-level competition participate in the district-level competition. In addition, those in the corporation and municipality can also directly participate in the district-level competitions. Those who have won the district level competitions participate in the state-level Kerala festival. Around 5,000 art and sports talents are showcasing their talents in state-level competitions. Trophies, certificates and prize money have been arranged for the winners of the Festival of Kerala. Grants are also being sanctioned to the local self-governing bodies for organizing the Kerala Festival. More than 5 lakh young arts and sports personalities from block, district and state levels are participating in the festival. In order to increase and ensure the participation of youth clubs in the Keralotsavam, awards are given to the youth clubs who score the highest points in the festival from the block level to the state level.
Along with the Keralotsavam, a transgender festival titled ‘Marivil Fest’ is also being organized for the transgender community. It aims to provide an opportunity to the transgender community in the state to showcase their talents and bring them into the mainstream. Lalitha Gaanam, Mappilapattu, Nadodipattu (Single), Sangam, Painting, Poetry Writing, Monoact, Mimicry, Drama (Malayalam), Mime, Folk Dance (Single), Mohiniyattam, Sangam Dance, Oppana, Thiruvathira, Margamkali and Mylanchi Idal are some of the art competitions that have been included in the Keralotsavam. The winners are given cash prizes and certificates. The competitions are organized at the state level. Organizing art competitions in Marivil is directly implemented by the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board. In order to increase the participation of marivil clubs formed by the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board for the transgenders section, cash awards are given to marivil clubs who score the highest points in the state transgender Keralotsavam.Time schedule for keralotsavam 2022.
